Homestead Tips

Todays Homestead Tip: in the winter, if you are keeping blankets on your horses, make sure that you take them off every other day or so to make sure that they are not losing weight. It is very easy for a horse to lose weight in the winter because they are burning fat to keep warm. Also to check for rub marks caused by the blanket.
